    Ever wonder why your Anti Virus detects a virus in your autorun.inf whenever you insert your removable disk (USB, flash drive, et.) but it can’t disinfect it nor delete it or if you’re having a hard time accessing drives? Tried deleting it manually but you can’t find the file?
    Autorun.inf is hidden and it can’t be remove or disinfected by Anti virus. And you try finding the autorun.inf file but failed even if you select to show all files from folder option?

    Here’s what you need to do…
    1. Boot your system in Safemode
    2. Open your flash drive via Command Prompt (do this via Start->Run->cmd.exe).
    3. Change your logged drive to your USB flash drive (e.g. if your flash drive is at drive E: then type E: on the command prompt then press enter)
    4. Type ATTRIB -H -R -S AUTORUN.INF then press enter
    5. type in “del autorun.inf” then press [Enter]
    After reboot, you can now access your drive.
    UPDATE: Above procedures is a preventive measures only, the easiest way to eliminate autorun.inf virus is to download Noob_Killer by leerz or Mirror link

    onna ape kolla ayeth awilla!!! me thiyanne badu!!

    Aiyo Easy wadak.!

    First open up your Text Pad then type them in there

    [autorun]
    open="yoursoftwarename.extension"
    icon="itsiconname.ico"

    then save it as Autorun.inf (Configuration file )
    then replace that file with your current one then

    Are you using Windows XP or Windows Vista? 32 bit or 64 bit? Because there is a different patch for each, first you need to apply the patch and then edit Group Policy

    If you could provide version of Windows that you are using I will give you details including screenshots where possible!

    Then you could run MBAM a very powerful tool with a small footprint

    First run your system in safe mode, then go to your my computer properties and enable the system restore function.
    then restart your computer and run in command prompt mode. in the command mode type the following.
    ATTRIB Autorun.inf -H -S -R.
    if the file is found in the Drive then give.
    DEL Autorun.inf.
    similarly you can do it for all drives. but you have to restart your system for each drive.
