Isn't AVG gonna updated???

I have more than a week old update and every time I try to update
it says I have the latest update!

Is this true?

I mean it's an "anti virus software"

So it has to be updated often...

macho there is a small scene.

there is a kind of virus called zlobDNS i think. wat it does is wen it comes to ur computer it automatically changes ur DNS server address in ur network settings to a bogus DNS which has all da antivirus update servers blocked. wen u try to update u wont b able to. i also got da same thing and i tried so many ways and ultimately i reinstalled XP.

im sure uve got dat scene. jst chk ur TCP/IP properties inside ur network connection's properties!

This is getting worser by the minute!

I can't even scan a single file anymore.
When I try to scan a file AVG closes and says there's a critical error.

    Can someone HELP?

no use bung. its blocks everything.

da only option is to use a very rare antivirus product. but that also should be able to detect this virus. or else you wont be able to remove it.

this damn virus does is that it creates a whole lot of files in your computer and then it also creates a whole lot of registry entries. even if u delete one there will be another one running and dat will continue. its damn diffucult to control it!

Use Avast .........After u install it it will ask u to schedule a boot time scan.......b4 u click it u must update it.if u don't have avast software u can get it in this link.Remember to download the latest updates also.....!
    Then open avast settings &
    schedule a boot time scan......

    http://www.avast.com/ Only Beta versions......

If it doesn't solve ur problem You have to format Ur partition which includes ur OS....Remember to back up ur files.........:D:D:D
