AVI playback

I have dl;d several AVI files here and can't get them to play.
Divx is my normal player and it gives me bad CODEC , KMP player freezes and I have tried several other ????
I have never had problems before and have none from other sites. But I like ELaKiri and would like to continue here.
any IDEAS ???

not clear your question man.I'm using kmplayer & it's playing avi movies.....:)

I dl'd mve here. like Killers click to playback and get "bad codec" I can still play other movies.
I have several that I have tried from here past week or so and same error.
I have tried removing player and getting new, same thing !!
I can still play others but not any new ones, and all were from here with pa swis ??

Ok here is the deal...
I have dl several movies and can't get them to play.. all from here. I love this site !!!!
Killers jonah hex marmaduke the last airbender.
KLMPlayer shows bad codec.\
I also tried DIVX plus player win media and Classic)
some say can't render the file, some just sit.
I have deleted all players and dl again, tried update.
DivX PLUS SAYS UNSUPPORTED FORMAT INSTALL ADDITIONAL dIRECTsHOW fILTERS.
Any Help appreciated!!!
