I dont find blaming Akon solely for that music video issue as a good thing
specially when he's just featuring there and we being Sri Lankans talking about all those options Akon COULD HAVE been taken , just when he announced a show in SL.. funny!
I myself a Buddhist but not a dumb to fall into low levels of him and shout back if by any chance Akon really did intended to insult our religion

Well... I too think Akon is only partially wrong here...
It's the perception of other Asians given to the western world about Buddhism that's at work here (we talked about this long time ago in EK)..
I don't expect Akon to know what Buddhism is... he must be thinking if Americans can wear a cross and dance semi naked how come this is so different.. in his thinking its no big deal.. just another exotic backdrop!
Do I like AKON coming to Sri Lanka? Well... as long as he adhere to rules of the country and can respect who we are.. I don't see any problem..
