Ban on local chocolate maker



The Colombo Magistrate´s Court today issued an enjoining order to local chocolate maker Edna Chocolate Manufactories against the manufacture and marketing of some of its products.
The court order came following a complaint by Consumer Affairs Authority that Edna was using in its products a Chinese-imported milk powder with traces of melamine.
The magistrate ordered that a laboratory and other reports be produced on October 28th.

And this proved I was right.It wasn't good at all.
No offense,I love my country dearly,But when it comes to things manufactured in Sri Lanka I think twice,if its cheap.

Oh and Kandos is not now.It was sold off in the 1990s to an Aussie company with brand name.It was started by Upali Wijewardene,The billionaire who disappeared mysteriously as I know.
