Sampath - Difficult for personal loans, expensive Internet banking, SMS alerts (700 + 350 per annum), Not-so-good mobile app. Other than this, their branch services are usually good
Commercial - Nothing much to complain except for their unstable Internet banking and buggy/not user friendly mobile app
HNB - Excellent digital banking app for mobile and they are gradually improving their digital channels. Number of branches, ATMs are good too

I haven't used the others. Avoid NTB salary saver, they have removed all the benefits they used to give. Unreliable bank.

Yes machan. I already have a Sampath Hit saver account. I agree with you about Internet and SMS charges of them (700+400). That is too much. They gave me platinum debit card for that acc (but I don't know what are the benefits I can get from that card :rolleyes:)
I have a HNB normal saving acc also. But I don't know what are pros and cons of that acc. and I don't use it last 1-2 years as I remember.

Anyway thanks for your opinion and time. (y)

What bank you keep your salary doesn't matter. What matters is how much you invest back.

Anyway Samapth bank service is good. Just my personal opinion.
    Thanks dude.!

Anyway I herd BOC and any other gov banks give good interest comparing to priv ones. But I could not find any details from BOC website.

    Black Pearl
    HNB

    Pros :
    • Loan rates are relatively fair compared to most of the banks
    Cons :
    • Sampath and commercial has more ATMs all over the country compared to HNB
    • They promote some gimmicks like Salary advance facilities but those goes as normal loan process where you need to submit salary confirmation letters and slips
