For the past two years, Sinhalese Buddhist groups have been staging anti-Muslim demonstrations, but these fatalities are the worst outbreak of sectarian violence in recent years.

----I feel sorry about this daughter. I am a Sinhalese Buddhist. But there are many more muslims there. But they are not dead . So why only this Muslim father got killed. He would have tried to kill sinhalese people. Then sinhalese people fought back for there protecton. As a result then this muslim father would have got killed. What ever sinhala or muslim or english or any other human life are respected by me as a sinhalese Buddhist man.So I regret about that lost father and this daughter again. If I can help you , surely I help you honestly as a sinhalese Buddhist man.
