Its totally up to you bro. Cos Cima and BCS are totally two different things. If you really want to follow IT U better do BCS. But taking into to account the cost factor and it being only equivalent to a degree ,doing something like BIT at UCSC would be better than BCS.
On the other hand Cima leads you to a more management type environment. But theres a huge student base locally (second only to UK!!


) So you will find a lot of competition even if you are fully cima qualified.
I am currently doing a MSc and in it Project management is one of the subjects I follow. According to our lecturers theres a great demand for project managers at the moment with this ongoing development projects. We are constantly advised by them to at least follow a certificate course in project management in order to secure a better employment position.
So from what I see, since you are doing Civil Engineering, It is better if you focused more on the areas such as project management, Building law and IT.
