I can make you some suggestions for you to select modules in Diploma level. Both web and software developers have to interact with databases. As a developer a knowledge on Databases is essential. So select "Database Systems". There is another module which is known as "Object Oriented Programming" in the diploma level. Since oop concepts are very important for a developer you can select that one also. In addition "Principles of Internet Technologies syllabus" also focuses on different internet technologies. You can go for it too. These are just my suggestions. Select whatever modules you want.
