Coz if you have an income of like 30,000 - 40,000 you can live happily in a rented space. Slowly when your salary scale becomes big then you can obtain a loan and build a house.

Yes you are correct, but If you can afford to buy a house with a loan or something it always better than stay in rented space. Bcoz a rented house costs about 15K in colombo, so half of the salary is doomed.

yes one of my friend is staying with his wife in a rented 2 room house near Nugegoda and it costs him 15K per month. It is not that cost if its away from colombo.
