Best Gaming/High End PC specifications

Guys i wanna know the specifications of the Best Gaming/High End PC specs part by part!!!
if you guys can include the prices i appreciate more!!
Im planing on buying a new PC(High End)..
so i just wanna get some ideas from EK members,coz there are many members hu are very aware about these topics!!
hope this thread will support the other Ek members as well..

Go for a highend VGA like ATI 3870/4850/4870 or Nvidia 9600/9800/8800/280
Loadz of RAM is a must..........and 800Mhz or Higher........

Hmmm!!guys i did some research and created a Spec by my self!!

Processor-Intel QX9650 3GHz Core 2 quad Extreme OR i7

VGA-NVidia GeForce 8800GTX - 1.5GB OR ATI Mobility Radon HD 2900XT - 2GB

RAM-8 GB DDR2-800 PC6400

Chipset-Intel X58/8MB L2 cache!!


anyone knows a better spec dan dis please post here!!

Hmmm dont go for those VGA cards.. If you really need "high end' Go for a Nvidia GTX 280 or a ATI HD 4870

IMO 8 gig of ram is a Over Kill

Going for a Corei7 is a bad idea at the moment.. it needs triple channel ram configuration. Its not worth the money you are paying for that DDR 3 rams

No way machann.. now a days you cant name a 8800 GTX as a high end graphics card..

Just look at the Bandwidth difference between GTX 280 and the old 8800 GTX ( Its whopping 141.7 GB/s vs 86.4 GB/s )

Dude i dont think you can move to highend corei7 platform with that kind of a budget ... Stick with Good old LGA 775 45 nm processor

Go for a Quad core.. ( LGA 775 )
GXT 280 or a ATI HD 4870
4 Gig of Ram is enough
