Best Hard Disk Brands

HITACHI HDD develops noise after 2-3 years of usage. when read,seek it sounds like a mill. I don't know newest HDD's. but I faced this with 80,120,160,250 GB HDDs (before 2009)

I think maxtor no more exists. these days, main HDD brands are Seagate,Samsung,Hitachi
