it depends on the multiplier. at 900MHz DDR2, you are running at FSB1800 (450x4) Put a E6420 there, and that's a 3.6GHz! Put a E6600 there, and it is a 4.05GHz. See? There is no point going for low latency (aka high performance) RAM. A CPU upgrade is always MORE (FARRRRR MORE) beneficial.

I oced my Pentium D 3.4 to 4.1** GHz with 940FSB with KVR 667Mhz
(def 5 5 5 15 20) 3 3 3 9 12 I gave 0.2 V more to ram n that is 2.0 V

I was afraid , n my cpu temp raise by abt 2 C , Bt still can clock more i think

3,3,3?! Are you nuts? Even the ultra low latency RAM's can't take 4,4,4,12 at 900MHz+! (this is sometimes at 2.4V!)

not :baffled: @ 900MHz @ 667 , yeah some times @ that , i was moving it here n there

hw ever i set it to default , current psecs are more than enough for gaming :D
Bt still wanna oc n see
