    Guys what is the best debit visa/mastercard in Sri Lanka for overseas ATM withdrawals?

    I phoned Sampath Bank. I have an international debit card, smart shopper card. What they said was, if you're travelling to Australia you don't have to activate the card especially for International transactions.

    But if you're going to India/Indonesia you have to pre-notify the bank.

    The daily withdrawal limit is 125k LKR, and for a POS transaction it is 350k LKR.

    Anyhow the monthly limit is 5000 USD.

    For a transaction of that sort they charge 2.8$ plus the overseas bank fee (around $3-$5)
