Near Katupitiya village, off Ratapura-Pelmadulla Rd, (A4)

    Ramboda

This one is near Ramboda, Kandy-N'Eliya road (A5)

    Doowili ella

    Near Kalthota, Balandoda

    Hiking

    # Alagalla - ascend from Dabnture, get down from Ihala Kotte. Thrilling hike, a difficult one
    # Batalegala - easy hike, but the scenary is spectacular
    # Saptha Kanya - difficult hike, but the results are reawarding. You might need ropes if you are not the best in climbing
    # Hantana - reattively easy. peak 1 hike s challenging, but you'll never get the feeling of walking on the highest edge of a mountain range with a slope of thosand feet from both of your sides.
    # Kirigalpotta - challenging hike, because of the altitude. Refrain from climbing if you have weak lungs.

    Bathing
    # Paravithota, Ingiriya - fast flowing stream which is shallow and with crystal clear water. 1km from Ingiriya towards Ratnapura
    # Makeli ella, Lathpandura, Baduraliya - spectacular place, where you can walk down the slope of the water fall. There are places to bathe, but inheretly risky place. But who cares?
    # Abergeen falls - Ginigathhena - another nice pool to bathe, but don't get near the fall.
    # Udawalawe tank - by the sides of the dam, there are grass covered grounds. Water is shallow and vast and fun!

I'll continue with the list on Fora and Fauna and historical places as well.

Wow! Excellent list. I love bathing in rivers. I'm looking for somewhere near ragama or bingiriya areas.. Know anything?
