Right now E220 is the choice for you, easily unlockable. Yesterday I tried a bit to unlock the E160 modem but couldn't find the unlock code of the modem, I mean I couldn't find the Hex string that corresponds to the unlock code.
Unlocking E220 is a piece of cake..
