Avaddon Ransomware has launched a massive email campaign with subjects like "Your New Photo" or "Do You Like my Photo" etc with nothing but a winking smiley face.
Attached to this mail is an image file which is named like IMG123032.jpg BUT it's really a Javascript file.
If executed, it will launch a PowerShell and immediately download ransomware and run it. So please take care when opening your emails.
Meanwhile. Honda (Japan & Europe) has been targeted in a ransomware attack. Much details are unknown at this stage, but it's suspected that they have been most likely subjected to a SNAKE (or rather EKANS) ransomware attack.
