.STL file ekk thiyenne. STL files solidworks walin open karanna baha neda?
Yes, SolidWorks supports the import of STL files. The STL translator imports STL files as SolidWorks part documents. You have the option to import STL files as graphical data, solids, or surfaces. When you import STL files as graphical data, you can select the Import texture information check box to import texture information if this data exists¹. There are also many resources available online that provide best practices for importing STL files into SolidWorks².

Machan, Could you do that for me. I'll send the STL file and quote me your price.

I haven't got the software now. I used to use it. That's why I suggested Solidworks. It is a so much better one than Blender.
Ahh, same here. I don't have SolidWorks right now. I'm more of a finite element guy, with very little knowledge about modeling. I need to create a cut before running the analysis.

Tried with boolean modifier. But not getting any results :(

What is your FEA software? If it a Abaqus or Ansys you can still do that.

Try this channel if is Abaqus.
Thanks! I'm using Abaqus. The problem is that the hole I want to create is not a regular shape like a circle or square. It's more like an irregular shape. I don't think Abaqus can handle that kind of shape.

If that is the case you can use Python Scripting in Abaqus to create those odd shapes and patterns. There is another method in Abaqus to do the same which I can't remember its name.

My advice to you is do not use something like Blender in Finite element or Fluid dynamics. Use proper FEA and CFD software.
