Guys while browsing through youtube I found this song by Bathiya And Santhush a cover of master sir. In the description there was something an itunes store link to buy the songs. I was wondering since they are local artists and well we cant buy from the itunes store it available some where other than itunes to buy? Local store I mean.

its just surprising that before releasing these stuff to Sri Lanka they have released it to itunes which only people in US can buy.!

well i think it's great since most of the music loving sri lankans don't get a chance to get the songs of sri lankan artistes. besides its good exposure!

Whats so great about it? How about releasing them on their home country before they go international? Specially the song lankamatha!

But still if no one's buying the original CDs and only buying the counterfeits in pettah what's the use? be realistic.

Well how about the people how will buy them? I guess they sold their first albums using itunes to the people in US instead of people in SL. Be realistic! This means that you are one of the people who buy copies of the original CD's of local artists.

As a matter of fact counterfeits is something entirely different. Counterfeits are fake version of something not the exact duplicate. Like the chinese version of the iPhone.
