The police confirms that the fashion bug attack was a racist attack conducted by Bodu Bala Sena supporters and the girl who got raped nor the person who committed the rape worked for fashion bug!!! It is well recorded that the "Ethno religious fascist"organization known as the Bodhu Bala Sena(BBS) meaning "Buddhist Power Force" has been spreading racial venom and hatred at the Muslim owned "Fashion Bug"establishment in recent times.The Bodhu Bala Sena specifically targeted the Muslim owned apparel businesses "No Limit" and "Fashion Bug" at the rally held in Kandy a few weeks ago.The BBS General Secretary Ven.Galagoda Atthe Gnanasara Thera delivered a racist speech that promoted hatred against these firms."We have all the proof and information about the Fashion Bug and No Limit outlets and what they are doing to your girl children! What harm have we done to the Muslims?" Gnanasara Thero said.Reading from a list of names the BBS General Secretary said they were Sinhalese men and women who had gone to work at Fashion Bug and No Limit in Kandy and been converted to Islam(which is obviously not true)
