Bogollagama Requests 40million More!!

President Mahinda Rajapaksa has been requested for an extra amount of Rs. 40 million for official overseas tours of Foreign Minister, Rohitha Bogollagama, a senior official of the Presidential Secretariat told ‘Lanka Dissent’.

Grants reserved for official overseas tours of the Foreign Minister under the Budget 2008 have been used up within a few months.

Despite receiving information that the FM has been staying in super luxury hotels during such tours, the President has given initial consent to provide the extra amount of Rs. 40 million, the source further says.

now this is wat is called wastage of public funds. they pay huge amount of ministers, president advisors and various other personal's in da govt in huge sums and now money allocated thru da budget is over within few months and 40million more requested.

they spend lyk this and say that petroleum corporation, electricity board and stuff are running at losses!!
