Synopsis :
It is a typical David Dhawan kind of comedy venture replete with the ingredients of an entertainer. Sanjay Dutt and Govinda are spoilt brats of a rich businessman Kader Khan. In order to mend their ways, Kader Khan sends Sanjay Dutt to Goa and Govinda to look after office affairs. Karisma Kapoor and Pooja Batra are daughters of Anupam Kher who live in Goa with his sister Aroona Irani. Sanjay Dutt meets Pooja and falls in love with her. Govinda meets Karisma and falls for her. Anupam asks Sanjay to bring his father but he impersonates Govinda as his uncle. What happens hereafter forms the rest of the story.

Synopsis :
BOOM, is a film in which the fashion world meets the underworld and all hell breaks loose. It centres around three top notch female supermodels who live and work together and belong to the international world of fashion and modelling. Off the ramp, however, they are sexy and lonely in a male dominated society.

Then a regular fashion show goes horribly wrong when they are sucked into the nasty, but irresistible underworld of Bombay. They unwittingly botch up a diamond delivery to the Middle East. The task cut out for them is,

Plan A: get into the fashion extortion business,
Plan B: stage India's biggest bank robbery to get the diamonds back
Or
Plan C: decamp with the loot.

They plan to take on the Dons instead of buckling under their threats. They settle on planning India's biggest bank heist and then decamping with the loot. The Dons have their own hierarchical manipulations -Chotte Mia, Medium Mia and Bade Mia. Chotte wants to be Medium, while Medium wants to be Bade and Bade has nowhere to go, except,hold on. Each tries to outwit and outdo the other. They are under the impression that the models have more beauty than brains,and are in for a surprise. The girls, therefore, get a fair chance of pulling the wool over their eyes using their beauty to poach any last vestige of common sense the Dons might have had.

The overwhelming question: will their planning and plotting bear fruits? Can the three adversaries outwit them and not get bluffed by their obvious charms? Or will the whole thing just go BOOM, as it were?

If the state of the world has you on edge, why not escape with one of those famously-fantastic "Bollywood" extravaganzas, such as this one (complete with eminently-hummable score and some great dancing) about...a terrorist suicide bomber...?
Since becoming a crossover success in Hindi with NAYAKAN ("Boss," 1987, a dubbed version of his award-winning Tamil film starring Kamal Haasan) South Indian director Mani Ratnam has made a series of controversial mainstream films that touch on potent contemporary issues: the bloody Kashmir secession conflict (ROJA, 1992) and the Bombay Hindu-Muslim riots of 1993 (BOMBAY, 1994). His fourth Hindi film, DIL SE, is a spectacular and disturbing romance set against a background of insurgent and counter-insurgent violence in the eastern Himalayan region, and the threat of national disintegration, especially following the 1991 assassination of Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi by a female suicide-bomber. Criticized by audiences for its highly-unorthodox denouement, it has also won staunch fans for this and other nonstandard features.

The stunning outdoor cinematography by cameraman Santosh Sivan spans the subcontinent from Himalayan snowfields and the high-altitude deserts of Ladakh to the palm-fringed backwaters of Kerala to offer, in a jarring counterpoint to the screenplay, a nakha-shikha ("head to toe") portrait of the body of Bharat Mata (the nation personified as mother goddess), evoking the Indian national anthem's sweeping catalog of geographic and ethnic regions. Similarly, A. R. Rahman's brilliant, hypnotic score melds folk rhythms, Indo-Persian ghazal imagery, and rap-style declamation into another parallel plot, here a portrait of obsessive and doomed love. The dreamlike song "pictureizations," brilliantly choreographed by Farah Khan—from the spectacular opening song Chala chayya chayya, set atop a train speeding through the mountains—seem dissociated, even by Hindi-film standards, from the screenplay, further heightening the overall sense of dis-location, and suggesting the impossibility of realizing romantic fantasy in the midst of oppressive contemporary realities.

Shahrukh Khan plays a frenetic New Delhi yuppie named Amar (ironically, this means "immortal"), an All India Radio reporter dispatched to the hills to collect sunny news stories on the theme of "what 50 years of Independence [celebrated in 1997] have done for you." Instead, he finds barbed wire, bombs, bitterness....and secessionist ethnic rebels.

The movie starts off at the airport with four of the mainJaane Tu Yaa Jaane Naa characters telling the story for us to hear, and from then on, believe it or not, there are 4 songs back to back - Kabhi Kbahi Aditi, Jaane Tu ya Jaane Na, Pappu can't dance, and Nazre milana. Really giving one a sense of being a musical, the story was told very well. The story is about Jai Singh Rathore, a rajput prince by birth, whose mother has made him swear not to ever resort to violence, and Aditi Mahant, who resorts to violence for anything and everything! Best friends for around 5 years, these two inseparables refer to each other as Rats (Jai) and Meow (Aditi). Their other friends Bombs, Shaleen, Rotlu and Jiggy as well as their parents, all know that sooner or later, these 2 will realise the love they have for each other, and tell each other. But the story takes a twist when Jai and Aditi try to find a pair for the other, resulting in a series of episodes of jealousy, anger and hidden yet beautifully shown love.How the story progresses, what promises are broken, and what relationships made are for you to see! A special mention of the songs would be that AR Rahman has, as always outshone himself yet again with music ranging from a soppy ballad, to a peppy dance track and right down to the brilliantly popular "Kabhi Kabhi Aditi". A very good effort by the first time director Abbas Tyrewala, though the story line was nothing out of the ordinary.

Contract (2008) 2CD + 1CD Original DVDRIP xvid subs

ACP Ahmad Hussain (Prasad Purandare) asks ex-military commando Aman (Adhvik Mahajan) to work as an informer in an underworld gang and tip him with lethal information.

Aman refuses and 'coincidentally' loses his wife and kid in a terrorist attack soon after, which makes him change his mind. That's the most conventional character conflict employed since years!!!

What follows are ingredients common to any underworld drama. Two gangs. One gang-lord, gang-war, encounter specialist, police commissioner, corrupt home minister, so on and so forth.

In surplus you also have a gangster's sister who is impressed by our hero's attitude of mouthing a dialogue in every line.

You don't expect a line like, "Kya tumne kabhi kisi se pyaar kiya hai?" in an RGV film but Ramu just does that and serves you the unexpected. That gives way for the obligatory love story.

The heroine (Sakshi Gulati) can't act but she sure is alluring. Alas Ramu doesn't even exploit her oomph by making her sizzle on Bangkok beaches.

'Its not needed' you might argue but so is their redundant romance track that's completely incompatible in this crime caper.

The riveting and realistic effect of RGV's earlier underworld films is conspicuously missing from Contract. That's perhaps because the scripting by Prashant Pandey comes without any research or references.
