A Chinese hospital has released x-ray images of a six-year-old boy who was born with 15 fingers and 16 toes.
The boy was scheduled for surgery at a hospital in Shenyang, Liaoning province, to remove the extra fingers and toes, local media reported.
Experts said a gene mutation contributed to the growth of the extra fingers and toes, according to reports.
