If you are an Old Royalist you must have experienced or heard of the fun and flavour of the "Bradby Train" which we Royalists used to move ourselves to the Hill-Capital Kandy, and enjoy watching the match and cheer our Royal Team to proudly crush the Opposing Trinitians and bring the trophy.
There has been something called as the Bradby Train, which was a regular route intercity train crowded mostly by the enthusiastic Royalists on the day of Bradby. The train had no limitations about who gets into it, and the public shared the journey upto Kandy. In brief, WE JUST GOT INTO A REGULAR TRAIN AS A MASS CROWD, AND CALLED IT "The Bradby Train".
We had a train to go up, but no return transport to get back to Colombo from Kandy after the match is over. We had no big privacy either, because it was a public train.
We have put our efforts to revive the old traditions of Royal. For the Bradby match of this year, you do not need to travel to Kandy in small groups in buses and cars, and miss the fun of ROYALISTS-BEING-TOGETHER.
You can ride the original BRADBY EXPRESS, a DEDICATED train for the Royalists Old and Young, which will take you to the match, and back from it.

Bradby Express, the dedicated train will be departing from Fort Railway Station - Colombo at 7.00 a.m on Saturday 26th June 2010.
Bradby Express is open to every member of the Royal Family - Students, Staff, Old Boys and and their families.
Ticket sales will be open soon.
Ticket prices:
Students : Rs. 400 (should attend in school uniform)
Old boys : Rs. 700
One way* : Rs.500
Special compartment for old boys groups: Rs. 50,000
Limited number of tickets will be available on a First-Come First-Served basis.
