    2.There is no co -relation between Article 33 and Article 70
    3.Article 62(2) gives power to the President to dissolve Parliament

    He further says even if the SC feels there is a violation, court has the discretion not to grant the interim relief asked for, as this is an FR case.

    WTF having such a clause then

    AG surely knows that the President's power regarding dissolution has been limited by the constitution itself. Therefore he does NOT have plenary power regarding dissolution. But the AG has to cover his bosses ass....:frown:

    Getting quite interesting.. I wonder why he didn't argue that the President was elected by the people and hence there is no need for a Constitution. :eek:
