Full moon this Saturday. It's rising about 7 p.m., so we'll have our walk starting at 6:30 p.m. Meet at Quarry Road Entrance Park by Brisbane Community Garden and Post Office, 280 Old County Road, Brisbane.
These quarry walks are fun. Bring friends and neighbors. Children and dogs are most welcome. Roundtrip is about two miles on a nearly flat road. Dress in layers. It can be cold and/or windy. Rain cancels, but a bit of fog or a few clouds won't stop us.
(There will be a partial eclipse of this moon, a companion to the solar eclipse that happened two weeks ago at the new moon. As with that solar eclipse, the lunar eclipse won't be visible here; the moment of greatest eclipse is 2:10 p.m. our time. For more information, see PARTIAL ECLIPSE.)
