"Buddha Bar" : Sri Lanka calls for report on "Buddha Bar" restaurants and bars
Sri Lankan missions overseas has been instructed to submit a report on the chain of bars and restaurants named as “Buddha Bar” which operates in several countries, officials said
The action had been initiated by Prime Minister D.M.Jayaratne in the capacity of the Budda Sasana minister.
The PM has asked to ascertain whether Buddha statues are placed in the Bars and restaurants where guest consuming liquor and dance.
