There is a well in Makkama. During Haj season every year, this one well gives enough water to millions of pilgrims. Is this not a miracle?

What do you say, gazaly?

samahara eewa photoshop wenna puluwan...

but everybody, at least every Sri Lankan saw those statues standing admist the tsunami waves. Specially, the statue in Galle.

I have seen, and others have seen too, many Buddha statues fully destroyed by the tsunami.

There are many other buildings also not destroyed.

Maybe, Gazaly's photo is one of them.

So, it is simple understanding. Destruction and extent of damage depend on how strong it is. There is nothing extraordinary about Buddha statues.

Namuth eka haskamak kiyala hitanne kohomada?

Read 'Technical information' on your first link. This is all activity inside the earth's crust. There, you find water and further deeper lava. Sometimes lava erupts in volcanoes.

There are hot water springs in Kinniya (Trinco) and in many parts of the world. I have seen one in another country with a temperature of 100 degrees C. where people come to full boil eggs. I also did it.

At the Dambulla temple, water falls drop by drop eternally, non-stop 24/7 from a stone.

All these are natural things. They have nothing to do with any religions.

It is unfortunate, Muslim say they are Allah's haskam, Buddhists say Buddhist haskam. Other religious people also have similar haskam.

No harm believing that way, if you want to. But why quarrel, sometimes even violently?

I believe that people can do things which the average person cannot do by developing their mind.
But lifeless things? There has to be some physical explanation for these-something about the nature, or their composition etc. I don't believe lifeless things can do miracles simply because they are holy places/statues/pictures etc.

This is what called "haskam"

OK. If it is haskam, Gazaly has also presented a similar haskam in this thread.

I am sure, you are a devoted Buddhist. Buddhists see haskam in Buddha statues. Gazaly, being a Muslim, can see similar haskam in Islamic buildings. Same with the followers of other religions.

Religions may be good. But they also can make people blind.
