Next buddha after gauthama already happened. It's just that Sinhalu are waiting for a magical Buddha who can fly and appear in other places

How can it be if buddha ir rahatan wahanselas predicted that ruwanwelisieya will be there untill the last realized person is gone.

I am not an expert in Buddhism. I do not know who made the statement about Ruwanweliseya. Certainly not the Buddha.

Sinhalu i have a problem.If everything is impermenant how somethings can become guaranteed.They say ruwanweliseya wont be distroyed for another 5000 years or so.world won't be distroyed untill next buddha arives.Buddha statues doesn't get distroyed under natural disastors.How these things are possible if all things are under the law of nature?

Gauthama Buddha was a spiritual teacher. there were and are many like him. He just did his marketing very well. predictions are always 50/50.

As I said just forget these nonsense. If u are enlightened or not at the end of the day, you still have pay your taxes.

ඕන කෙනෙක්ට ඕන දෙයක් කියන්න, ලියන්න පුලුුවන්. ඒව ඔක්කොම හරි කියල පිලිගත්තම ඉතින් ඔය වගේ ගොබ්බ ප්‍රශ්න මතු වෙනව.

මගේ ප්‍රශ්නය රුවන්වැලි සැයේ නිත්‍ය අනිත්‍ය ගැන නෙමේ... ඒත් උඹට බුද්ධ දේශනාවේ එන නිවන, අරහත් බව කියන දේවල් ඇත්ත කියල හිතෙන්නේ නැද්ද?

මිනිස්සුන්ගේ එකිනෙකාට ආකල්ප , වටහාගැනීමේ ශක්තීන් වෙනස්. සෑය වන්දනා කරන , බුදුන් වැදීම තියෙන්නේ ශ්‍රද්ධාව කියන බෙසික් එක හදා ගන්න. මෝඩයි කියල සම්පූර්ණයෙන් අයින් කරන්න බැනේ. එහෙමනන් එපා කියන්නේ බුදුන් ගේ කාලෙමයි. අනික ඒක කරන්නේ අපි දෙමව්පියන්ට කෘතගුන සලකනවා වගේ බුදුන්ට කෘතගුන සැලකීමක් විදිහට.

As far as I am aware it was the Afghans who gave Buddha a face. They are the ones who first built the large Buddha statues for worship. Smaller ones may have been there since Alexander The Great's time. circa 2 BC or so. I am not certain about this 100 percent but vaguely remember this.
