Can delete virus inflection only format "C" partition?

I think my pc inflected malware so can remove virus inflection only format c partition. I already installed kaspersky internet security. It didn't detect any malware. But most of the time my pc freez. Previously i only formatted c partition but after fewday left this problem again came.
