You don't need either a Panorama Lens or PhotoShop to make this. Take a series of photos with a SLR/Digital camera with a Tele lens and arrange them one after the other with a light weight image tool like MS-Paint or IrfanView!

You may also need a Tripod to keep the camera on one place, or else the photos will not fit in to one.
