01. Diesel or petrol ( If it's Diesel, stick to the 5000KM/6 months)
02. Short vs long-distance running( If it's Kaduwela-Kollupitiya, again stick to the 5000KM/6 months or even less than that)
03. Fully synthetic vs mineral( synthetic tends to survive SL climate/ road condition)

In General,
7-8 months/6000KM with synthetic oil is not that much issue unless you run in extreme conditions( dusty, heavy traffic, unpaved roads etc), but do not make it a habit.

Read the user manual( if you have any), that would guide you.
