Car tyre pressure help

I used to set care tyre pressure to 32 for last 6 years
But recently went to change car tyres and there, the owner said that I should set it to 28 psi

He also said that, it is a misbelief of setting it to 32 and if I do so the car would start to vibrate and start to make sounds.

He is not an idiot but an engineer in motor mechanics with Msc completed in the UK.

What do you think guys.?

Can't give exact figures w/o your vehicles' make and model but generally, manufacturers recommend 32psi for vehicles they export to ASEAN countries (and Sri Lanka shares that set of recommendations almost all the time)

You can find manufacturers recommended tyre pressures on the drivers side door sil/B pillar, however for JDM vehicles that recommendation is set according to Japanese road and weather conditions

Mama num 32 tiyala tiyenne aluth tire set ekata. Wahane bara hinda e gana athi. 70mai Compressor ekak ara gaththa.. 32 set karala on karama auto wadila nawathinawa.. tire kadawala ewa sure naa.. eka eka kadawal wala eka eka readings

Can be. But he is having money ban. Very well an educated guy. Not money minded at all. I didn't fix the tyres from him.

Shead eken hulan gahapan. Calibrated machines tiyenne. We can set the psi and pump.

හුලන් ගහල ඩ්‍රයිව් කරල බලපන් උඹට සෙට් වෙන්නෙ කොහොමද කියල (depending on road conditions, load/weight, temperature, atmospheric pressure, suspension setup, rubber compound in the tyres, etc.)

වැඩිපුර ගැහුවොත් MPG වැඩි වෙයි. Acceleration අඩු වෙයි (higher rotating mass) + brake performance අඩු වෙයි (less traction)
