Catholic priest who imported military equipment arrested

A Catholic priest who was returning to Sri Lanka from a foreign country was arrested at the airport by Customs Department with 30 icon radios, antenna and accessories of them and 40 GPS (Global Positioning Systems) equipments.
Customs and Police Departments are jointly probing to verify if the priest imported these equipments for the LTTE.

The priest is a resident of Thoppuwa area in Kochchikade.
