Central Homes : Ja - Ela

Hi Guys,

Needs to know few information about Central Homes Ja - Ela. One of my friend bought a land in Ja - Ela from Central Homes last December ( 2019). He signed the papers related to the transaction in front of the Central Homes Lawyer. However this land is mortgage in a finance Company and still the DEED OF RELEASE has not given to my friend. Do you guys have any advice which can help us ?

I know nothing about this kind of thing but why didn't you have your lawyer when you signed it? Seller can get anyone to pose as a lawyer, and add all conditions in his favour.

He is telling that he will give the "Release Deed" next week each day we went to his Company. We checked with few Other Lawyers and they said the Company Lawyer is the main person who did the wrong thing. We tried to called the Lawyer who is in Negombo. He said he had a Heart attack and he cannot do anything to please settle everything with Central Homes.
