Sept 04, Colombo: Ceylon Petroleum Corporation today announced that Ceypetco Gas will be introduced to the local market at the end of this year.
Chairman of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation Ashantha De Mel said after introducing the new gas, the selling price of LP gas in Sri Lankan market will decrease nearly by Rs. 500.
He further said under the first phase of this project, 150,000 gas cylinders will be issued to the market.
According to the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation sources calling tenders for this purpose is now in progress.
