Charles Bosco is a multitalented artist who was born in Colombo (Sri-Lanka). Before he could reach the age of one, he and his family came to London in where he was brought up. As he grew up in London he gained knowledge in musical instruments such as Keyboard, Drums and Tabla. He learnt electronic keyboard from Maestro Sarangan Sriranganathan who brought him through various stages in the Trinity
College of Music, London. After Charles reached the age of eleven he then learnt drums from Mr.Hatty who now is part of many upcoming rock bands. Charles has performed with many music groups in the UK such as Spectrum, SaReGaMa, Tempo, Vaanampaadi and Super Prince by playing keyboard and drums.
Since the age of seven Charles has been attending his local Tamil school association Aruna Udhayam which is based in South-East London in where he learnt carnatic vocals by Sugirthakala Kadatcham and took
grades under the Academy Of Fine Arts. He is also still continuing to learn carnatic vocals through his new guru A.S.Murali. During his time
in Aruna Udhayam he also learnt the basics of Tabla from R.N.Prakash and then later continued to learn more from Sri R.R.Prathap. He has worked with music companies such as Not2BMissed Ltd who produce music for feature films and computer games. The young musician has recently created his own music studio (Bosco Studios) with a wide range of
recording and mixing equipment and has been producing music for many upcoming artists.
Charles gained his A' levels in Music Technology and double ICT and now is at the University of Westminster studying software engineering. He has also been co-producing music under Prince-Digital UK which was managed by Princeten who is now part of B-Prod in France. Charles has now worked with many upcoming artists such as Komo, Tilla Man, Lexy
Do, Hope, Magnum, K Dogg, Nubrid, Dushan, Tayo Kazeem, Sister Maria, Steve Cliff, Kadhal Viruz, G-Style, 2shanth and Awele.
Forthcoming projects include artist Dinesh from Colombo in which Charles has produced a number of songs for his album Thamila which has just been released. Dr.Burn's solo debut album from Malaysia in which Charles will be producing the entire album. Tracks with Anusha Nava(US) who has worked with P-Diddy, Zee Kay (UK), Lady Kash (Singapore), Kiran Zamman (UK), Phsycomantra (Malaysia), Brass Tax
(UK) and Ember (UK) who has rapped for A.R.Rehman for Yuvraaj and Alagiya Thamil Magan. Charles will also be starting to work on a singalese film in december 2008 with is yet to be titled.
