Electric vehicles are one of the biggest scams. The market demand for EVs in North America is declining steadily and many US automakers (Especially GM who are pioneers in EVs in North America) have paused their EV expansion plans because they know that the infrastructure has not been developed yet and the owners face practical difficulties such as charging times, huge battery replacement cost (around $20k for a Tesla), cold weather conditions, range, etc. There has never been a true demand for EVs from consumers because there has been a pushed and forced demand created by the governments. Forced or artificial demand doesn't last long. Only Toyota analyzed this trend accurately and didn't go with the flow. Hybrids, Solid State Batteries and Hydrogen are the more sustainable and promising options for the future.
