In some cases CIMA may valid for salary increment and job promotions in private sector. But MBA valid in government sector and in some high demanded jobs in management field in private sector.      if you hope to change your field MBA may valid and you have a path to continue upto Ph.D. (usually two years for MBA and three years for Ph.D.). if you plan to stat your own company in any sector, MBA may valid than CIMA.
