SL is corrupted in many ways.. Join the work force and see it for your self machang. Just see how many are trying to drag you down if you're performing well. And try to raise your voice against unfair things and see....
Foreign countries are not a heaven. But most countries are better than SL. That's why people go abroad. And many are helping the Sri Lankan economy by injecting a lot of foreign exchange too, unlike Sri Lankans living in Sri Lanka.

MOST of them DO NOT inject anything they earn abroad spend abroad and send gifts to SL
and SL gets TRASH 
.....u may think im extreme but its true. Others who are sending money are doing a good job tho, and as in pull you down business who cares-if you get enough money to live, otherwise quitting the job and stating the reason would do you some good(for this you should have to be a valued employee) The main reason for this country to loose so much is free education, we dont get education for no cost in abroad and ppl who learn here for free(its not free for the government) go abroad for working then things get corrupt the ratio of ppl getting abroad is getting higher - most of them are the most educated its a FREAKING loss and you say SL is under developed - theres no one left to develop SL
