I do not want to say that he is the only person who raised the Sinhala music with some collaborations. But I want to say one thing. he is the person who did many non-matching with Sinhala music. He was one of the best rhythm guitarists at that time. he did lyrics, composed music, presented some artists to the Sinhalese music field. He was a good singer as well. Therefore he did a unique service for the Sinhala Music field before he says to Good-By to us.
