Some movies pivoted to subtle, subliminal, and nonverbal marketing strategies. One I recently observed was the inappropriate display of religious insignia in two recent films: the highly popular "Clarence" and "Eda Raa" of Milton Mallawarachchi. In a very inappropriate way, bringing an orphanage at a convent to the scene in the movie "Clearance" and the gaudy display of religious insignia in the movie "Eda Raa". These are subtle, subliminal, and nonverbal marketing strategies, like promoting tobacco in the movies of yesteryear.
