Colombo: Thai Navy Ships Arrive

Two Royal Thai Naval Ships, HTMS Similan and HTMS Narathiwat arrived at the Port of Colombo on 22nd July 2011 with the Inspector of Operations Division, RTF of the Royal Thai Navy, Captain Paradon Puangkeaw onboard. They were ceremonially welcomed by the Sri Lanka Navy on arrival in accordance with naval tradition.

The ships are en route to the Gulf of Aden to participate in counter piracy operations.
