I cant understand why theyre giving Hambantota a 60000 seat stadium which looks modern, when they recently built Premadasa as a 28000 seat stadium based on a design from the 80s. IMHO they should redo Premadasa and Sugathadasa stadiums into a mini sports precinct, which will be state of the art.

But anyway, I do like the proposed sports city in Hambantota. It looks on par with Sydney's Homebush Bay.
