I heard that the prevalence of sexually transmitted diseases (including HI ) is very high than what we imagine. Increasing the availability of Condoms will be a very helpful measure for counteracting this. However, have you experienced the facial expressions of the pharmacist when you ask for a condom. (I don't mean that I'm a kotu panina guy) therefore, people are very reluctant to ask for a condom from a pharmacy.
However, these condom vending machines should be located in areas where susceptible people are commonly available. (Not near temples and hospitals etc lol)
The technology is already available. I recently saw one installed in front of the sexually transmitted disease control program at town hall )
