I'm not gonna talk about MP3s here, but how Sri Lankan artist have copied international music to create their music.

I downloaded the video called "A Hetha" from Iraj Delon & Shani. The interesting part comes at the end; the scratch. The scratch is a complete copy from the track "pump me up" by Will Smith. The track was in an album called "Willenium". Isn't it pathetic that Iraj can't make his own scratch? Wasn't there a single person to do that scratch?

If you think that's the only one i'll give another. The beat of "Mata Hithanna Ba" is from Busta Rhyms's song "Make it clap". Just listen to that if anyone think i'm wrong.

Iraj isn't the only one who does this. Ashanti's "Sanda wathuren" is made up of many english track parts. It's rhythm is from "Lay low" by Nate Dogg and Snoop dogg. The thubla is from Missy Elliot's song "Get Your Freak On" and there are many parts like that.

I can give more examples, but dont have time now. I dont say that these people dont have a talent, but copying like that without acknowledging the original one is pathetic.

all your comments are welcome, but please listen to the original tracks before you do.

Anyway, no comments from me to that Q, coz to my POV, music must modernize with the listner's tastes and to go with the society

[I must give a deep reply.. Im sleepy now ;)]

ur absolutely rit but at the same time u need to understand the principles or base of HIPHOP
so eg - this is from the album Late Registration by kanYe West

    jst 2 giv u a brief -

Late Registration is the second studio album by hip hop artist and producer Kanye West. The album was released on August 30, 2005, and debuted at #1, selling over 860,000 copies in its first week. Rolling Stone magazine named it their Album of the Year. It has gone on to sell over 3.5 million copies in the U.S. and received a great deal of acclaim from critics.
The album was nominated for Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards of 2006 and received the award for Best Rap Album.

jst visit this n ull understand EVERYTHING

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Late_Registration

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Late_Registration#Track_listing

so there goes, its the nature of hiphop music(but still new). :D :D :D :D

at the same time i have to tell u im not trying 2 justify them coz producers like Quincy Jones never did such things but thats a total different case.
