Colombo Lankapuvath) Cricket fans will flock in large number to demonstrate peacefully to get Kumar Sangakkara, the Sri Lanka skipper who tendered his resignation as Captain of the team back to captaincy.

Accordingly, a peaceful demonstration to get Sanga back to captaincy is to be staged tomorrow (09) at 3.00pm at the Independence Square in Colombo. Over 5000 fans have confirmed their participation for this noble and peaceful campaign to bring back Sanga, loved by many Sri Lankans.

A team of 04 people initial organized the event, putting it up on the most visited social network ‘Facebook’ on Wednesday. The numbers are expected to increase over night as the wall of the event page has been filling in with positive comments.
The organizers, a young group of enthusiastic cricket fans who just the loves for the sport and the gentlemen engaged in the sport expects the numbers to increase overnight. They say that the message has been delivered to over 32000 fans islandwide.

The organizers requested the fans to come in Sri Lankan cricket t-shirts, Blue or yellow t shirts with banners, flags, etc in support of Sangakkara.

They will also be calling for Mahela Jayawardena to come back as the Vice Captain of the team.
