CROWN OF LOVE
God is glorious. He has created fascinating flowers,
incredible beasts and billions of stars in the universe.
His glory is absolutely amazing...
Yet, the greatest glory He has ever displayed
is the glory of His grace. He came to earth
and willingly became the Lamb of God,
that was slain for the sins of humanity.
This is more glory than anything we could ever see.
The glory we can see in the heavens and on earth,
all comes forth from God’s HAND. He created it.
The glory we see at the cross comes forth
from God’s HEART. It's an amazing expression of love.
The love of a true Father who gave all He had
to save billions of lost sons and daughters.
This is the glory of the cross. The crown of God’s love.
Jesus took it, He accepted it,
because He had his eyes fixed – on you!
He was looking beyond the suffering He had to endure.
He was seeing something: you running from death,
pain, hopelessness, despair and sin –
into the loving, forgiving, cleansing arms of the Father.
He knew: My death, My blood, this crown of thorns,
will accomplish that.
Glory immeasurable.
Even all heaven has no idea what it cost Him.
But He did it. Pure love. Pure glory.
Pure sacrifice... for you!
