i hav CS 1.6 vertion but when i open the games in my P4 it opens but the screen bcome black screen and the pc will get stuck and i need to restart it or cant do any thing it will stay like tat for ever so if u can help me plz help me

if you are using OpenGL as the renderer update it(may fix the problem) or else just try the software renderer if the problem comes up again then it might be the connection but still you cant be sure my CS installation just exits randomly dont know why but after reinstalling it works for a few days and the same problem comes up again
