UPFA Southern Provincial elected member Nishantha Muthuhettigama speaking to Daily Mirror Online said he is ready to face any disciplinary inquiry by the party against his recent conduct and further added that he knows how to face such an inquiry as well.
Muthuhettigama further added that he was very pleased that the Party Secretary at last showed interests in him after all this time as there was no one to look after his interests when they lost elections or were assaulted by others.
Furthermore he stated that he had been an SLFP member for the last twenty years and that his father was there from the beginning of the party.
He was replying to a report that the SLFP was going to conduct a disciplinary inquiry against him for breaching party discipline.

Mr Muthuhettigama seems to be a funny act, the good thing is he only fought amoung his own party members & got a considerable amount of votes and who knows he could be a better person to the public ...

He obviously has some dark secrets of Rajapakshas’ up his arms. Otherwise, he is not an idiot to boast like this. He seems pretty confidence the Rajapakshas' will not go against him for the fear of revelation. Note he frequently praises Gotabhaya...? Wonder whether the fact that his father is a top professional living in USA has something to do with all this...///////

What a shame, Mr, Muthu u got highest number of preferential votes despite all odds. You have shown great resistance against Sajin’s Money, Anarkalee’s royal affairs and Randima’s vocational trainings. People here in Galle must raise their voice against all these acts. MR changed the law in order hold both Chief ministerial and Basnayaka Nilame to his nephew. People in Galle patiently watching all these developments, pls obey the real mandate of the people here in Galle. Appoint Mr. Muthu as the Chief Minister
